Date Worthy Restaurants
518 West
There is only room for a two person table on 518 West's staircase
and it's the perfect spot to reserve for your next date.
Bloomsbury
Bistro
If you want great food and a little after dinner walk through
a historic neighborhood, then this is the place for you.
No
Fo
Worried about what to talk about while you're waiting for your
food? Head upstairs and look around No Fo's very eclectic selection
of items for sale in their gift shop.
Logan's
Seaboard Cafe
Logan's is the perfect spot for a lunch date. It's a flower nursery
in the old Raleigh train station. It's all outdoor seating so
avoid going there in 90 degree weather.
Cardinal
Club
Looking for a great view while you dine? How is being 28 stories
above downtown Raleigh for a view?
18
Seaboard
Speaking of great views, 18 Seaboard has one of the few outdoor
eating areas that is on the second floor. It offers a truly unique
dining experiences.
The
Cupcake Shoppe
Did you go to an early movie, concert or play? Not late enough
to go out anywhere yet? Try The Cupcake Shoppe. They are open
until 8pm Tuesday through Thursday and until 11pm on Fridays and
Saturdays. You can get dessert and coffee in this very unique
shop on Glenwood South. Afterwards you will be in walking distance
to all of the action.
Mellow
Mushroom
If you're looking for a pretty laid back atmosphere and you don't
want to spend a fortune, try out Mellow Mushroom. They have great
pizzas, subs, and a great outdoor eating area.
Sushi
Blues
Not your typical Sushi place, I think that you and your date
will enjoy Sushi Blues. Plus, you will be within walking distance
of everywhere else you want to go.
American
Tobacco District
Normally, I would not suggest somewhere outside of Raleigh, but
Durham really has a wonderful area called the American Tobacco
District. They have a few pretty good restaurants and a man made
river running through the middle of everything. Perfect for a
stroll after you eat.
