Outdoor
Seating
Spring is upon us and it's time for everyone to say I want
to eat outside today, where can we go? So, here's a list
of restaurants all the way from really cheap to super fancy
that have some of the best places to eat outside in Raleigh.
Not too pricey
Logans @ Seaboard Station
You don't really have a choice with this place, all the
seating is outdoor at a garden nursery.
Mellow Mushroom
Probably the reason why Mellow Mushroom is so popular
is because of it's outdoor seating. People always hang
out here even when the weather isn't warm. It's a great
place to get good pizza and watch the traffic go by.
Village Draft House
This restaurant has recently taken over extra space in
Cameron Village and has been able to double their outdoor
seating area.
Village Deli
The Village Deli is another restaurant in Cameron Village
that is really popular for it's outdoor seating. This
place is really popular with all the college students
in the area.
Rudino's
Rooftop
One of the few places in the area where you can eat on
top of the building. I really wish we had a few more of
these places in Raleigh.
Chargrill
Chargrill is a Raleigh classic. Order a great burger and
sit outside on their metal picinic tables.
Eh, i got some extra money
Zest
This place has great food, and you can sit outside inside
of a white picket fence.
Winston's Grill
Winston's Grill is one of my favorite places to eat lunch.
They have tables on the patio that surrounds the restaurant.
Don't forget to order the freshly squeezed lemonade.
I'm worried not about the price
Nelson's or is it Fosters?
Nelson's has been closed for the past few months and will
be opening up as Fosters restaurant in May. They have
a really great outdoor bar area on the second floor.
18 Seaboard
Get a great view of Raleigh from this second floor patio.
The Mint
I haven't been outside on their patio, but it looks like
a very cool place to eat.
One restaurant that has a limited amount of outdoor seating,
but deserve a mention is Porter's
on Hillsborough Street. Porter's
will open all of the doors at the front of their restaurant
and allow most of the restaurant seem like a covered porch.
