The Rockford

The Rockford is a funky sandwich shop that is upstairs above a hair dresser on Glenwood South. The Rockford has been around for several years and they have a lot of creative sandwiches on their menu. My favorite is called the ABC. It has Granny Smith apples, bacon, and cheddar cheese with honey on French toast. Now, you may be thinking that doesn't sound too appetizing together, but trust me it is really good. Another great idea that a friend of mine created is to get the mozzarella sandwich which has roma tomatoes and spinach and get a cup of marinara sauce for dipping. Now, they don't always have marinara sauce on hand. Sometimes they have it for a dinner special. You're going to have to ask for that one special.
