Yancy's

Yancy's is a Cajun style restaurant that relocated from City Market to Fayetteville Street in the Hudson building. Yancy's has gotten mixed reviews from the people I know who have eaten there. I've been for lunch and dinner. At lunch they have a buffet with a great salad bar, a selection of vegetables and meats and of course some cobbler. Depending on what day you go, they sometimes have rolls with honey butter or cornbread. It is a little hit or miss with the buffet. Some days it is great and some days it's just ok. And the food is sometimes just luke warm. If you're planning to go for dinner then you might want to head out early, because it gets really busy at night during the weekend.

I think what makes Yancy's is the music. They have a great saxophonist playing everyday at lunch and usually a band at night.
